As a Certified Life Coach, CPCC & Master Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner, MNLP, I help you stop the cycle of self-sabotaging patterns in your life, relationships & career.
For close to three decades, I ran an award-winning graphic design business and consulted with hundreds of clients along with Fortune 500 companies including Gap, Pottery Barn, Sierra Club, and Charles Schwab.
I got married and had kids. I consumed myself with work and my to-do lists. With all my success, I found myself working beyond overtime with my hands glued to my computer or isolated in my studio. I was doing all the things I thought I wanted to do, should do, and were expected of me. But… I was often miserable.
I was screaming on the inside while feeling stuck and uncertain of how to change it.
Then… I had a number of wake up calls. I went through a divorce, the death of my mother, a major home relocation along with other significant life changes, all while running my businesses and being a single parent to two kids. Emotional stress and burnout turned physical and I developed what I thought was chronic fatigue and a repetitive strain injury.
The hand and wrist pain that I’d been nursing for years, flared up to a point where I realized it wasn’t a flare-up anymore. It had become a rare form of neuropathy.
This essentially forced me to change my entire life. I had to re-invent my career from scratch in my late forties while covering the expenses of being a single parent. I could no longer use my hands in the way I had as a graphic designer or follow my passion project of being an exhibiting artist and fine art oil painter.
The big aha for me was… I had self-sabotaged when making very critical decisions. I had not taken the effort to really consider what my vision was for my life at very critical times. As a result, the stress of these feelings literally caused my body to rebel. I realized…
I had made choices out of fear.
I had made choices out of “should’s”
I had made choices out of not realizing my worth.
This setback had me digging deep to find the strength and resilience within myself to make necessary changes and pivot the creative skills I had spent 25+ years of my life mastering.
I realized that over my years of experience, I had created several successful businesses. As a designer, business consultant and visual artist, I see what something could be before it actually exists—and this isn’t just limited to pixels on a screen or paint on a canvas.
And that’s when I knew that I had a vision for the rest of my life and a way to use the creativity that drives me every single day.
I am committed to helping others stop the cycle of self-sabotage, so you wake up excited in the morning, doing something that enlivens your heart, your soul, and your purpose.
I draw on my life-long study of all things related to human consciousness, spirituality, psychology and personal development to course correct my life.
I have a mind, body spirit approach to my work. I bring both practical tools and deep insight to uncover the blind spots and where you are self-sabotaging yourself.
It’s a step by step process to identify the inner critics that cause self-doubt and create lots of noise in your mind and learn to bypass habitual behavior that is reactive and negative.
My influences include Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Thich Nhat Hahn, Michael Singer, and Marshal Rosenberg along with the study of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Breathwork, Shamanic Studies and the Law of Attraction Principles.
Along with these influencers, it was also my ten years of mentorship, working one-on-one with a zen monk that helped develop me separate out the internal voice in my head that was in the driver’s seat.
